Samuel T Wright Jr.
Born from his mother Olive Boyd and father Samuel T. Wright on January 12th 1944. He then was raised by his grandparents, Dora and Phelps Wright.
He grew up with the love for the ocean. He would spend his summers on his uncle’s farm in kahalu’u, where he got to water ski, surf, fish and did some horseback riding. He was never one for academics, what he did excel in was football. Starting off as JV at Farrington HS and then in Varsity at Waipahu HS where he later graduated from in 1963. From playing Football he had his favorite team, the San Francisco 49ers. Been his favorite team since day one and never strayed.
He worked in trucking, with Richard Lee and Yamamoto trucking which is what he loved so much that he reiterated from it.
Samuel also got married to his wife Violetta M. (Alcosiba) Wright on January 7th 1967. Bought a house in Ewa Beach where he lived the rest of his days. Samuel is survived by his wife, three children, seven grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
