Setsuko Nakasone
91, passed away peacefully at home on April 29, 2026.
Sets was the last surviving sibling of a family of eight children.
She was predeceased in death by her son Stan Kalani and leaves behind husband Stanley, daughter Gayle, daughter-in-law Brandy, and three granddogs: Pickles, Nani, and Momi.
Sets will be missed by many family members and friends; especially, the nieces and nephews she spoiled over the years.
Family and sports were her main passions.She spent many hours watching all manner of sports on television; her favorite being baseball.
Being wheelchair bound in later years, most family gatherings were held in her home with the ever present televised ball game in the background.
Our family thanks the many family members, friends, and medical professionals who helped keep her life meaningful in later years and fulfilled her wish to live out her life at home.
Celebration of Life to be held on Saturday August 1, 2026 at Mililani Memorial Park, Mauka Chapel.
Visitation begins at 4:30 PM. Buddhist service to follow at 5:00 PM.
The family requests no koden, monetary gifts.
