I was very sorry to hear about Shaun. I had the opportunity to work with Shaun at Waiau. He was a security fixture at the Waiau Power Plant, and I was a Security Supervisor for HECO. I remember talking to Shaun every morning and we had many conversations about his job, his family, his fishing exploits and his vast Oakley sunglass collection. Even though I worked at HECO briefly, I found Shaun to be very knowledgeable and he taught me many things about his job. I hope his family finds comfort in the fact that Shaun was a stellar employee, and most importantly, a good friend, who was kind to everyone. Rest in peace, Shaun.
