I had the pleasure of playing alongside Sheryl for three years as a member of the Honolulu Wind Ensemble percussion section. As someone new to the band (and Hawaiʻi), she welcomed me with open arms. She was an outstanding leader of our section. I was deeply saddened to hear of her passing. She will be missed by so many. A donation to the Honolulu Wind Ensemble has been made in her memory.
Sheryl, I can't believe you are gone. You saw me through COVID-19 and gave me great advice for staying healthy. I will miss your smile and thoughtfulness. You are a great example of a servant leader. I will miss you each time I see the sparkle of a gem. You were truly a precious stone mounted in settings of gold and silver.
I will always remember Sheryl as a friend, nurse and a sweet, sassy soul with a heart of gold. We were in the same new hire orientation class at Kaiser Hospital many, many years ago. Throughout the years, as we would run into each other, we would catch up on each other's current events and family happenings. My condolences to her family. May she rest in peace.
I will always remember Sheryl as friend and fellow classmate at Mililani high school and Wheeler intermediate. My condolences to her family. May she rest in peace.ðŸ™
Will always remember Sheryl as a kind dedicated and compassionate nurse, friend and coworker. She always went above and beyond for her patients and families. May Gods blessings be of comfort to her family during this difficult time. Fly with Angels Sheryl
