Shigeko Sumida, 89, of Aiea, Hawaii passed away on December 3, 2023. She was born on August 30, 1934 in Honolulu, Hawaii.
She is survived by daughters, Charlene Unten (Wesley), Phyllis Thompson (Dale), and Claire Reimers (Christopher); brother, Kenji Komata (Lily); sisters, Chieko Sakuda, Mieko Hisamoto, and Akiko Nakamura (Stanley); seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, February 28, 2024 at Mililani Mortuary Mauka Chapel. Visitation begins at 9:00 am; and service at 10:00 am. Inurnment to follow 11:30 am at Mililani Memorial Park Cemetery.
