Predeceased by his wife, Kay Katsuko Shimabukuro. He is survived by son, Alan Shimabukuro; daughter, Amy Shimabukuro- Nishimura; brother, Robert (Mary) Shimabukuro; sisters, Dora Watanabe, Hazel Okawaki, Elsie (Tom) Nakasone, Naomi Shimabukuro; grandchildren; great grandchildren; nieces; nephews.
