Soledad Quirapas Alquiza's Obituary
Soledad Quirapas Alquiza, age 95yrs old, passed away peacefully on April 29, 2026.
She was born on June 13, 1930, in Caoayan, Ilocos Sur, Philippines. She was a dedicated and hardworking woman, spending most of her life in hotel industry in Honolulu, Hawaii before retiring at the age of 64.
Soledad will be remembered for her strength, kindness, and the warmth she brought to those around her. She lived a full and meaningful life, touching the hearts of her family and friends with her compassion and gentle spirit. While her later years were shaped by illness, what remained constant throughout her life was an unwavering love for her family.
Soledad was an amazing seamstress, customizing patterns to her liking with great detail and care. She loved traveling to Las Vegas, where she enjoyed trying her luck. She enjoyed gardening, listening to Ilokano music, singing and streaming to her favorite radio stations.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Victoriano, and it brings comfort to know they are reunited once again. Their bond was enduring, and we are certain that their reunion is a peaceful and happy one.
She is survived by her (7) children, 14 grandchildren and their families as well as extended family in Hawaii, California, and Washington state, who will carry her memory forward with love. Her family will continue to honor her legacy through the love, values, and memories she leaves behind.
Memorial service will be held at Mililani Mortuary - Mauka Chapel:
Wednesday, July 8, 2026: Visitation at 5:30 pm; Service 6:300 pm
Thursday, July 9, 2026: Visitation at 10:30 am; Service 11:30 am
Burial to follow, Thursday, July 9, 2026, 3:00 pm at Valley of the Temple 47-200 Kahekili Highway Kaneohe, HI 96744
