Sombat Bunmee was born in Khon Kaen, Thailand on June 12, 1959. (Age 66)
Sombat Bunmee, a beloved daughter, mother and grandmother passed away peacefully on Aug. 10, 2025.
She lived an amazing and beautiful life surrounded by her greatest treasures: her husband of 42 years, her 3 children of 1 daughter & 2 sons, and 9 grandchildren.
When she was 6 months pregnant with her 2nd child, her Daughter, she moved to America, (Oahu-Hawaii) and with her mother in-law and close family friends they embarked on starting a Thai Restaurant Business and was known for her cooking and delicious Thai dishes and truly enjoyed feeding everyone. Those dishes were so special and they were the same authentic dishes we all grew up enjoying throughout our time with her.
Beloved for her compassion, kindness and unwavering love for everyone and the belief in the goodness of people, she touched many lives throughout her lifetime and her legacy of love will live on. Her warm embrace enveloped those around her and she had an incredible ability to cook delicious thai dishes and would feed anyone she came in touch with. Her generosity knew no bounds, and her kindness touched countless lives. She is survived by her husband, 3 adult children and 9 grandchildren who were greatest treasures.
Celebration of Life Service: Tuesday, September 9, 2025 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints - Kahuku Chapel
Public Visitation: 9:00-10:30am
Service: 10:30-11:30am
12:00pm - Transportation back to Mililani Mortuary for cremation
