Sophie Balanay, 87, of Mililani, Hawaii passed away on May 11, 2025. She was born on September 21, 1937 in Waialua, Hawaii.
She is survived by children, Bonifacio Balanay, Jr. (Janice), Stacy Balanay, Gary Balanay (Tracie), Audrey St. John (Jon), Wanda Balanay; sister, Rose Buenrostro (Joe); step-brother, San Miguel; 14 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; numerous nieces & nephews.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at Mililani Mortuary Mauka Chapel.
Visitation begins at 8:30 am and service 9:30 am.
Burial to follow, 1:00 pm at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific.
