Soriano 'Vince' Grande Obituary
SORIANO 'VINCE' S. GRANDE, 67 of Waipahu passed away on April 22, 2018 in Aiea. He was born in Tarlac, Philippines on November 29, 1950 to Federico and Felicidad Grande. He attended Anao Central Elementary school and the University of Manila for High School. He would go on to continue at the University of Manila at the college level for a year, majoring in foreign service. From 1975 to 1980, he was a Private First Class in the Philippine Army and was sent to Oklahoma. In 1981, he arrived in Honolulu, HI. He worked various jobs including Dole Company and Young Laundry. He eventually joined the Seafarers International Union as a Merchant Marine in 1984 and retired after many years of service as Chief Cook.
(Uncle) Centy will always be remembered as a kind and generous person with a wonderful sense of humor.
He is survived by his wife Anna Jean Collo Grande; daughter Angel Grande; brothers Antonio Grande, Honofre Grande; sisters Jena (Greg) Cudal, Julieta Macatiag (Ricky); nieces and nephews Yvette Cudal, Christopher Cudal, Georgina (Alden) Diego, Jeremy (Leina-Ala) Cudal, Antoinette Johnson, Deshon Johnson (Shayna); grandsons Jaydon Cudal and Liam Alexander Diego; granddaughters Jaylah Cudal and Aaliyah Johnson.
Visitation will be 5:30 pm Wednesday May 23, 2018 at Mililani Memorial Park and Mortuary's Makai Chapel followed by prayer service at 6:30 pm.
