Stacey John Forges' Obituary
Stacey John Forges, 64, of Waipahu, Hawaii passed away on September 4, 2025. He was born on May 15, 1961, in Honolulu and grew up in Kaneohe, Hawaii. Growing up, he attended St. Theresa Catholic School and graduated from Castle High School in 1979. He joined the United States Navy and he was always dedicated to serving others and discovered his true calling when he joined the Honolulu Police Department. He took great pride in his work and truly loved what he did.
Upon retiring, Stacey dedicated his time to the things he loved most. Whether it was archery, golf, woodworking, or riding his motorcycle, he approached every activity with enthusiasm. Above all, music held a special place in his heart. He played many instruments, including the bongos, congas, ukulele, harmonica, and his favorite, the guitar.
He lived his life with sincerity, determination, and a deep sense of compassion that guided everything he did and every relationship he built. Family and friends meant everything to him, and he treasured every moment spent with them. His grandchildren were the light of his life—his pride and joy. Watching them grow brought him a sense of peace and happiness that words could never fully express.
He is survived by the love of his life, Adrienne Forges; sons, Kekoa (Gabriella) Nakachi of Washington, Shaun (Kapeka) Forges, Sierra Forges, Grant Hamilton, and Jordan Hamilton; daughters, Sky (Andy) Carino, and Sydney Lace Vinoya; 14 grandchildren (Domenicue, Isabella and Jaxon Nakachi; Ezra, Mehana, Ha’eha’e and Uanalu Forges; Alivianna, Atalie and Aleia Carino; Leah and Elias Hamilton; and Pierson Grey and Laylah Jade Salvador).
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 13, 2025 at Mililani Mortuary Mauka Chapel. Visitation to begin at 9:00 am and service at 10:00 am.
Casual attire and flowers welcomed.
