Betsy Logsdon
Before and after Neal was born, and Miriam was a little girl, June and Stan spent many weekends with my first husband and me in southern Wisconsin. At that time Stan was doing his residency in Chicago. Every day he would take the tunnel from their apartment to the hospital, so on the weekends he wanted to get out of there! June and I had taught together in Evanston, and she was like a sister to me. So when Charles finished school and we moved to Wisconsin, in the country, they spent weekends with us when possible. That was in the early 1960's. June continued to send Christmas cards until the pandemic. Then we lost touch.Time passes so quickly...finally, this past year, I tried to locate them and learned that Stan had passed away. After that, I tried to locate June, but was not successful. I have not searched for an obituary. I pray she is still living. If any of the children or family, or friends, read this would you please contact me, and if June is still with us, ask her to please contact me. I love her. And after all these years, I still miss her,Thank you so very much.
