Steven Yoshimi Kawakami's Obituary
STEVEN YOSHIMI KAWAKAMI, 72 of South Carolina, passed away on July 5, 2017. He was born in Waipahu. He rose to the rank of Captain in the US Army from 1966-1970, and earned a Bronze Star in Vietnam. His career included administrative positions at Sealand, CSX, and Maersk. He is survived by daughters Shelly Danucci (Joe), Stacey Kawakami (Michael Soules), wife Donna Newlands, mother Barbara, sister Fay Toyama (Ivan), and brother Gary (Brigitte). Private services held. No flowers please
