Teodorico Sabugo Obituary
TEODORICO BERNABE SABUGO, 69, peacefully passed away on January 7, 2018 from lung cancer at Queen’s Medical Center. He was the husband of Lourdes Basilio Sabugo. They shared 32 years of marriage together.
Most people knew him as Rico. He was born in Cabugao, Ilocos Sur, Philippines and was the son of Guillermo and Teodora Sabugo. He was employed at Haleiwa Surf and worked as ground maintenance.
He belonged to St. Michaels Church in Waialua. He enjoyed doing projects such as crafting book shelves and cabinets. He also liked playing with his dog, Kingston. He will be remembered for his abundant generosity, helping fix houses and cleaning yards. Many will remember him for his friendly smile.
He is survived by his wife Lourdes Sabugo, son Joel Sabugo, son Father Jeremy Sabugo, daughter Janelle Sabugo, house pet Kingston, Sisters Felicitas Sayaboc and Eulalia (Honorato) Sunio.
The wake visitation will be at 5:30 pm, Sunday February 4, 2018 at St. Michaels Church (67-390 Goodale Ave Waialua, HI 96791), followed by wake service at 6:30 pm. Mass visitation will be at 8:30 am, Monday February 5, 2018 at St. Michaels Church, followed by mass at 9:30 am. Burial will be at 12:30 pm, Monday February 5, 2017 at Mililani Memorial Park Cemetery.
