Theodora Rose Kehaulani Kruse
Theodora Rose Kehaulani Kruse. Kehau was born on July 5, 1941, in Honolulu, Hawaii, to Lillian Honey Piltz and August H.K. Kruse. She passed away peacefully at home on June 24, 2026.
Kehau was a beloved Cultural Specialist for Outrigger Hotels for many years. She was deeply dedicated to her Hawaiian heritage and found great joy in cultural traditions such as playing music, "Oli" (chanting), and Hawaiian quilting.
She is survived by her husband, Michael D. Dos Santos, and her three children: Mark "Moki" (and his wife Katherine), Kaue (and his wife Nahe), and Julie (and her husband Andrew). She also leaves behind 11 grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and many "Hanai" children and grandchildren whom she loved over the years.
