I have known "Uncle" Tom for as long as I can remember. He and my auntie Julie have been in my parents' lives since I was a very small child, and they have always been family to me. For a long time, I didn't realize that they were technically NOT my aunt and uncle! Uncle Tom was always so good-natured, warm, and funny. He and I shared a love of books and literature. He will be sorely missed, and I wish I had been able to see him more recently. Sending Auntie Julie, Steven & Cori, David & Kacie, and the rest of the family my love and sympathy.
