Tomiko Higa Obituary
Tomiko “Margie” (Isa) Higa, age 90, of Pearl City, HI, passed away on March 26, 2024. She was born in Kukuihaele Hamakua, Hawaii.
Predeceased by husband Wayne Higa. Survived by her sons Reynold (Joy), Alden (Karen), and Irving (Jessie) Higa, daughters Waynette (Ian) Tamashiro and Joni Higa, as well as eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Margie is also survived by her brother Jack Y. Isa and sister Hanae Yasuda.
Margie was a graduate of Farrington High School and the Territory of Hawaii Practical Nursing School. She dedicated herself to a 40+ year nursing career, working at Kuakini Hospital, then as a nurse with Dr. Kikuo Kuramoto, and ultimately retiring from Dr. Cyril Goshima’s medical practice in Honolulu.
Margie was a member of Nakagusuku Sonjin Kai and Tomari Doshi Kai.
Memorial Service will be held on Monday, August 05, 2024, at Mililani Mortuary Mauka Chapel.
Visitation begins at 9:30 am; and service 10:00 am.
