Tuputala Tumanuvao, a beacon of love and faith, peacefully passed away on March 30, 2024, surrounded by the warmth of her home in Ewa Beach, HI. Born on July 17, 1947, in Western Samoa, Tuputala's journey through life was marked by her passionate spirit and boundless affection for those she held dear.
Tuputala's early years in Western Samoa laid the foundation for a life rich in tradition and family values. Her heart found its match in Sugalu Tumanuvao, with whom she built a life filled with joy and the laughter of children. Though Sugalu, along with their beloved children Iasa, Filiva'a, and Sugalu JR, preceded her in death, the legacy of love they cultivated together endures.
She is survived by her adoring children, Olipa, Jerry, Bonnie, and Connie Tumanuvao, who were her pride and joy, as well as the grandchildren who lit up her world. Each family member was a testament to Tuputala's unwavering commitment to nurturing a loving and supportive family environment.
Tuputala was a woman of deep faith, which guided her through life's triumphs and trials. Her faith was her compass, leading her to live a life of service, compassion, and unwavering love. Those who knew her were often touched by her kindness and her ability to find hope in every circumstance.

Funeral Mass service will be held on Monday, June 3, 2024 at St. Joseph Church, Waipahu. Visitation beings at 9:30 am and service at 12:00 pm. Burial to follow 1:30 pm at Mililani Memorial Park Cemetery.
