Vickie Kaauwai-Kauhane Obituary
Age 71, passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2020, at the Adult Residential Care Home (ARCH) in Waipahu, Hawaii.
Vickie was born on January 26, 1949. She is one of six children of the late George and Nancy Kaauwai of Nanakuli, Hawaii. She graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1967 and was employed by Bank of Hawaii, as a teller. She enjoyed sewing and traveling. Vickie had a kind heart. Her generosity compelled her to help others by volunteering her time, and donating food and monetary contributions.
Vickie is survived by her husband, Mervin J. Kauhane Jr. They were married in Las Vegas on January 18, 1991. She is also survived by her son, Anthony K. Kaauwai. She is also survived by her siblings: brother, George (Kathleen) Kaauwai; sister, Lani (Maneo) Honda; brother, Jack Kaauwai; sister, Rachel (Dale) Maddock; brother, David (Lehua) Kaauwai; and sister, Linda (George) Mokuau (Deceased).
Private services will be held at Mililani Mortuary.
