Mr. Victor Carvalho, Sr. was born on December 28, 1931, in Waipahu, O‘ahu and died August 5, 2022 in the arms of his wife for 66 years, Martha in Waipahu, O‘ahu.
He graduated from Waipahu High School, class of 1950. He was a Korean War veteran. Upon returning home from Korea, he graduated from the Pearl Harbor Apprenticeship Program. He accepted an opportunity to work in the Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard Design Division as a Naval Architect where he retired after 45 years total of Military and Government Service.
He was a devoted husband of 66 years to wife Martha. He is survived by 5 children: Victor (Evelyn) Carvalho, Jr., Calvin M. Carvalho, Alita A. Carvalho, David W. Carvalho & Lynette M. Carvalho; brother, Corsino "Sonny" Carvalho; 10 Grandchildren, 12 Great-Grandchildren, 1 Great-Great-Granddaughter and many Hanai Grandchildren.
Wake Service: Visitation: 6:00 p.m. Services: 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at Mililani Makai Chapel.
Mass: Visitation: 10:00 a.m. Mass: 11 a.m. on Thursday, October 27, 2022 at Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Waipahu. Inurnment/Military Honors: National Cemetery of the Pacific, Punchbowl 11:30 am on Thursday, December 29, 2022. Aloha Attire requested. No flowers.
