Grandnieces and grandnephews. Also, an abundance of relatives who called him Uncle Vic hold a special place in his heart.
From an early age, Victor began to play soccer and continued to play in his adult years. Also, as a teen, he enjoyed riding dirt bikes and started going to the beach to body surf and surf. He loved going to the beach everywhere on the island to swim, body surf, surf, and in the last 20 years, stand-up paddle surfing (SUP). Victor accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as a teenager and throughout his life lived as best he could to share the love of Christ with his family, friends, people he met, and serve his Lord and Savior. In his adult years, he also casually liked to go golfing and bowling until his injuries made him give them up. He was a passionate water person and spent as much time as possible at the beach. He tried to get in the water to surf as much as possible, and he also appreciated searching and collecting shells along the shore. He loved walking outdoors, no matter the weather, sunny or rainy, in the forest and mountains, throughout the years, always taking along his furry companions Angus, Honey Girl, Hachi, and, in the latest few years, Big Boy. Victor also genuinely enjoyed playing music and, in his teens, started playing percussion instruments. He also played the drums and the bass. Throughout the years, he played with several different musicians and bands. To name a few, Simplicity and Kelly Boy of Kapena. The most recent and longest band he stayed a part of is HI Altitude, a trio with Wilson Cabanit and Reyne Lorenzo. All were born and raised in their hometown of Wahiawa. He also has lifelong friendships that he treasured, knowing each one was placed in his life and has always been grateful. He also studied several martial arts, including Kajukenbo, Escrima, Chi Gong, Kung fu, and Tai Chi, to foster his well-being. The connections he made most recently gave him tranquil moments that he treasured.
