Virgilio "Tata Virgil" Ibarra, 94. of Wahiawa, Hawaii, passed away on February 13, 2023. He was born on March 19, 1928 in Cagayan, Philippines.
He was retired pastor of Central Oahu Christian Church; and retired funeral director at Mililani Memorial Park & Mortuary.
He is survived by his wife, Blanche Ibarra; children, Rachel (Albert) Ustaszewski, Loida (Dennis) Smith, Naomi (Jon) Cruz, and Virgil Jr. (Cherry) Ibarra; grandchildren, Rhea, Roland, Ryan, Kyle, Emily, Hannah, Joshua, and Joel; great-grandchildren, Noah, Liam, Nyah, Nyjah, Madeline and James.
Wake Service will be held on Sunday, April 30, 2023 at Mililani Mortuary Makai Chapel. Visitation begins at 5:00 pm, and service at 6:00 pm. Funeral Service will be held the next day, Monday, May 1, 2023 at Mililani Mortuary Makai Chapel. Visitation will begin at 8:30 am, and service at 9:30 am. Burial to follow 11:00 am at Mililani Memorial Park.
