WALTER IOANE SHIM, 98 of Wahiawa, passed away on December 28, 2018 in Wahiawa. He was a retired supervisor with Hawaiian Dredging. He was born in Kula, Maui.
He is survived by his wife Birdie Shim; sons Walter "Duke" Shim, Andrew Gilbert, Lester Shim, Tom (Pamela) Shim; daughters Deceynette (Mark) Wisner, Roselani (Martin) Nowicki, Raynette Shim, Janylee (Mark) Hill; brothers Lawrence (Winona) Shim, Howard Shim; sisters Lillian Morreira, Kathryn Renaud; 21 grandchildren; 42 great grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be 9:30 am Friday February 15, 2019 at Our Lady of Sorrows. Mass to follow at 11:00 am. Burial to be 12:30 pm that day at Mililani Memorial Park's cemetery.
