To my mom, you were very protective of us kids, like a mother hen, and I'll always be grateful for that. You were loving and kind hearted, but stern and strict with us. You were one in a million and I am glad you were our one. May you Rest in Peace until we meet again. Your loving son, Louis, Jr.
Dear Mother, I will remember you always long after this sorrowful season has past. I will remember your laughter, your discipline, your love and especially your faith in Jesus, Mary and Joseph. I will remember how you cared for me when I was a sick child with asthma and I spent two weeks on the couch suffering from weak lungs mostly during Christmas time when the keawe flower was in bloom. I remember the difficult breathing and bad dreams and living on water and soda crackers and you Mother were there sitting in the parlor sleeping on the chair watching over me as I struggled to breathe and you brought me back to health. Please Mother give me the strength and wisdom to take good care of Kaimana-Jay and give me God's grace like our Holy Mother who cared for her beloved son Jesus. Amen
