Yvette Uluhani-Ono Blake, 80 years old, was born on May 13, 1942, and was received unto her heavenly father, in heaven, on October 29, 2022 while in Las Vegas, Nevada. Yvette Uluhani-Ono Blake was born to the proud parents, Solomon Paleka and Mary Mactagone Ono Sr. Born and raised on the island of Kauai, in Kekaha, graduated from Waimea High School, Class of 1960.
She and Richard Gordon raised their family of four in Aiea, Oahu and is survived by her four children, Lisa (Paul) Dubois, Sheri (Ona) Lum, Leah (Richie) Vazquez, and Richard (Janene) Gordon, 15 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; her sisters Patricia Nakama, Yvonne (William) Gonsalves, MaryAnn Ferreira, and brother Solomon (Veronica) Ono Jr. Yvette also loved her extended family, the Blakes. Her heart longed for her home in Koloa, Kauai with memories her late husband, Hartwell Hanalei Blake. She leaves loving family Canaan (Jocelin) Blake, Courtney (Iven) Sugai and five grandchildren.
Services will be held on March 24, 2023 at Mililani Mortuary Mauka Chapel. Doors open to welcome all at 9:30 am. The cremation burial and refreshments to follow. Aloha attire. Flowers welcome.
