In Loving Memory of Zenaida R. Estrada

Waipahu, Hawaii — Zenaida R. Estrada, a dedicated educator, scholar, and beloved member of the Waipahu community, passed away peacefully on July 13, 2026, at the age of 94.
Zenaida dedicated her life to the pursuit of knowledge and the empowerment of others. After earning her Master’s Degree in Education and specializing in educational psychology, she went on to build a legendary career in higher education. For an extraordinary 50 years, Zenaida taught at the University of Hawaii Leeward Community College, where her passion for teaching shaped the minds and futures of generations of students.
Beyond her professional achievements, Zenaida was a woman of deep faith and community connection. She was an active and cherished member of the Resurrection Church in Waipahu, where she was blessed with a wonderful circle of close, supportive friends.
She is survived by:
- Her loving sister, Adelina
- Her brothers, Oscar and Arthur
- A wonderful family of beloved nieces and nephews
Zenaida will be remembered for her brilliant mind, her quiet grace, and her lifelong commitment to her students, her faith, and her family.

Services & Memorial Information:
Visitation will be on July 31,2026 from 9 am at the Resurrection of the Lord Catholic Church in Waipahu followed by Funeral Mass on July 31st at 11am at the Resurrection of the Lord Catholic Church in Waipahu.
