Howzit,
First off, Condolences and aloha to the Doi ohana.
My name is Bryan Galapon. I was one of Officer Doi's JPO from Waialua Elementary School back in da mid 70's. I was just thinking about people who were a positive impact on my life and thought of Officer Doi. So, I googled his name and got the Obituary. I remember he trained us for the drill competetions . Our JPO team would ace it and come home with all kinds of 1st place ribbons....lol
I lived in Vegas too from 1997 to 2006. Moved to Richmond, VA where I am a Police Officer with the City of Richmond Police Department.
Thank you Officer Doi for your taking the time with us at Waialua Elementary School. I will never forget you.
