So sorry to hear of your loss, but can only imagine the grins on their faces as Janet & Bob are reunited. I was in a Bible study with Janet when my husband was active duty and we attended AUMC ((June 2011-April 2014). When she passed, Bob’s grief was that of someone who had truly lost the love of his life. We always loved Bob’s card creations and sitting next to him at church. They were both so proud of their family. I’ll miss sending our Christmas letter, but will smile as I picture them together again.
Bob was my boss at Burns International Security in Honolulu in 1978-79. He was a wonderful, nice, kind, man, and I loved working for him. I’m so sorry to learn of his passing. We had so many great times together at Burns.
Bob and Janet were active members when Bob and I arrived at Aiea UMC in the 1970's. We cherished their friendship through the years, even to enjoying steak at lunch with him at his favorite steak house. As a senior I do not drive in traffic or at night, so will choose not to attend the service, but I have made a contribution to the AUMC Foundation in his memory. Memories of the joys they shared and the stories they told will live with me and AUMC for years to come.
