My Uncle Johnny always made me proud. One of my most memorable childhood memories is when he came, with Auntie Pearl, Cindy and Ramona, to visit our home in Atlantic City. He was in the middle of the Viet Nam war. He was so handsome and fit in his uniform. He sat ramrod straight and seemed to be bogged down by the worries of the world.
I kept that memory and always bragged about the commitment and dedication of my Uncle Johnny and the beautiful family he created with Auntie Pearl in Hawaii.
You are with my beloved son, Evan, now and in the arms of the Lord.
I love you eternally, Uncle, and will look for you both when I arrive.
Thank you, Uncle Johnny, for the example you set for our family of commitment, integrity, honor.
You were my father’s baby brother and the last of those Mohicans.
REST IN POWER and enjoy the reunion.❤️
