Stacie Friel
Cynthia was a positive person, never letting any hardship get her down. She was well-spoken, and always greeted us with warmth and a smile. She often thought of others' spiritual journeys and shared a scripture or two with us many times throughout the 20+ years that we've known her. We had many conversations about the truthfulness of the gospel of Jesus Christ and His love and sacrifice for all of us. She even mailed us her hand-written testimony of her beliefs--she knew without a doubt that Jesus lives, that he died for our sins, and that He made a place for each of us with God, our father, in His Heavenly Kingdom! I'm sure she is happy and at peace in God's arms now. Family was most important to Cynthia. I know she is with her Dad-Dryden, brothers Leo and Clayton, and other family that have passed on. She was a great example of what our Heavenly Father asks us to do--learn of Him, live in a loving way as Christ did, and share His love and gospel of love with others so that we may all, one day, return to Him.
