Del, thank you for being a good friend to my family and I; especially to Aaliyah. Whenever she went to Wal*Mart, she always made sure to go see you. Later, she would always tell me. "Grandma, I saw Auntie Della today", and she was so happy.I miss our small talk, picture sharing, and even simple things like just exchanging a friendly "Good morning, Del" or "Good bye, Del" at the end of the day.At work, sometimes we'd share a funny event, and keep laughing about it during our interactions throughout the day. You'd say, "It's good to laugh, because life is too short, so we have to enjoy the little things."We would wistfully talk about one day starting a food truck (LOL), and planning to have a retirement party in the parking lot, and flying off to Vegas for some food, fun, and winning I miss the fun times when we would go out to eat with our group, and sometimes have coffee afterwards. These are just a few of the memories I will cherish forever. I take some comfort knowing you are now with Michael. After he passed, it hurt to see that inside you were still deeply feeling his loss, though you tried not to show it. You pain has now turned to joy.Though I miss you now, I know it will pass on the day when we are all together again. Love and miss you, Lani
