“Those we love can never truly leave us.†She will forever be in my heart for the rest of the life I have. I will truly miss my aunty so much and some days will be a little heavier on the heart knowing that she won’t be sending me random texts calling me her preacher man and her telling me how much she loves me and has been praying for me. She is home with the Lord and that’s enough to keep me content because that is the ultimate goal, to go home to Jesus.
I remember when they were on a cruise to Alaska. Â She woke me early morning with a phone call. Â I was shocked. Â She wanted to know if I could meet them for lunch. Â I replied, I would love to, but I can't. She asked why. Â I said I would have to catch a plane to Juneau, I was far far away from Juneau. Â LOL Â still makes me smile. Â I will miss You Esther.
