Esther Maile Andrews Hicks' Obituary
Esther Hicks Obituary
Esther Maile (Andrews) Hicks, born on April 30, 1957 in Waialua, Oahu, Hawaii. She went home to be with Jesus with a peaceful heart knowing that she fought a good fight. We all knew her a hard worker, funny in more ways than one and when she gave of herself it was always 100% or nothing. There was never a complaint about a job she took headon no matter how hard the task. She loved music and singing. Her keen hearing for music made us all cringe when a flat note was sung, only because we knew she would correct us but with love and understanding.
She is survived by her husband Kennard Sr of 15 years, Son Glenn (Stephanie) Machado, Step children Tenali (Darnell), Tomas, Kennard Jr., Kenneth, Kyle and Keanae Hicks. Mother Caroline “Momi” (Kahakui) Andrews, siblings Donna (Albert) Armitage, Diana (Anthony) Franks, Brenda (Daniel) Ortiz Jr., Richard (Emily) Andrews Jr., grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
She will be truly missed by all and she would want all of you to rejoice and not be sad because to be absent from the body she will now be celebrating life in the presence of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, worshiping and praising with the heavenly angels.
Please accept my gratitude for all the love and support that has been shown to me and my Ohana at this time of bereavement for my Love Love.
