Mr Chong, thanks for the opportunity you provided for a lot of young men working in Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard. You led us to become leaders and journey men in our respective trades. With your kindness , caring and compassion , you instilled respect, dignity and pride in our careers. You took a young man, home from Vietnam, lost and angry, and guided him to complete the apprenticeship. 50 years later I finally realized how great you really are, and I thank you. May God bless you and grant you eternal peace.
