Hey cousin,
I was feeling a little sentimental, so I started going through my father’s belongings. I came across this picture of us. The location of this picture was taken at St.Rita Catholic Church in Nanakuli. Seeing you in this moment and your pure youthfulness, floods my mind with photogenic memories and continuous video reels. It’s Father’s Day, and I couldn’t help, but relive the whirlwind of memories of our golden days. Thinking of you and your family.
Love you, tremendously 💜

Nolan & Kevin,
Two cousins, two brothers who made my childhood memories unforgettable. When you spoke about one brother you couldn’t help, but talk about the other one. Because they both brought laughter, adventure and silliness with them where ever they went. Memories of Nolan, I can still remember him riding his bike and holding his rooster in one hand, going diving and showing up late at the parking late…late, playing video game, or Pokémon/yu-gi-oh card games, lifting up rocks/logs hunting for insects! We always had the most unplanned and unpredictable experiences as kids. I’m truly grateful that there was never a dull moment when Nolan and Kevin were around. Thank you, cousin, for making my childhood experience an invaluable memory.
I will always cherish the memories of seeing Nolan at our New Year’s parties. Especially being from Lanai, where our family never really got to spend time with the second cousins, those moments were so special. To me, he was always the 'cool cousin.' He was always so quiet, which honestly made him even cooler, and whenever I did get to talk to him, I loved hearing about how he was doing—even if he usually gave me one-word answers! He just had a way of making everyone around him smile.
I am so sad that we won't get the chance to know each other even better in this life, and I will miss him so much. Sending all my love, strength, and deepest prayers to his beautiful kids and family during this impossible time. Rest in peace, cuz! - Kelsie
