I was so blessed to reconnect with my Uncle Reg, I only wished I had done so sooner. Through him, I was able to vision my mother, to get to know her, Winifred "Frankie", the younger Mom I never got to know. For Uncle Reg, he saw his sister in me. He sometimes would slip and call me "sista", and I would chuckle and remind him...I am the younger version "niessa". For the time we had together, when I visited, he shared so many wonderful stories, and laughed at all his antics! An additionally blessing was getting to know his children, my lovely cousins, whom I will continue to treasure. I am glad that he is not in pain anymore, and I can only hear his joking and laughing nature. Sweet Uncle Reg! You are missed!
