Shinobu "Nobu" Nishikawa's Obituary
SHINOBU, "NOBU" ISHIKAWA, 85, of Waipahu, HI, passed away August 17 in Honolulu. He was born in Paauhau, Hawaii. Nobu retired as a State of Hawaii Department of Education High School Industrial Arts Teacher. Following retirement, Nobu continued with the Department of Education as a Substitute Teacher. He is a 5th Dan in Sho-tokan Karate-do International Federation (SKIF) Karate. Nobu is survived by wife, Eiko Higa Nishikawa, sons, Jeffrey M. Nishikawa and Leslie P. Nishikawa, daughter, Shareen T. Aranaydo, brother Itsuo Nishikawa, sister, Sachi Tsutsui, 9 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Visitation and Funeral Services will be held on September 21, 2017 at Mililani Memorial park and Mortuary's Makai Chapel. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am with the Funeral Services at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Mililani Memorial Park at 1:30 pm. Casual Attire, No Flowers Please.
