Although we have been neighbors for over 25 years, I didn’t really get to know Tessie (and Bert) until the last 10 years or so. I blame them for that because they were always traveling. My favorite memories of Tessie are just the time we shared just sitting and chatting whenever I’d bring her mail in the last few years. She was always sharp - Rob Lowe will never know what he missed out on! And our little end of the cul-de-sac will sadly never be the same.
