Tony Randolph's Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of Tony Marcel Randolph announces his passing on March 6, 2026 at the age of 63. Tony was a loving husband and father, a friend to hundreds, mentor, counselor and coach to dozens, admired and respected by everyone who spent an extended amount of time with him and an extremely talented athlete. He was born in Staunton, Virginia and moved to Hawaii in 1982 where he attended and played basketball for the Chaminade University of Honolulu Silversword "Giant Killers" team from 1982 to 1985.
Tony lived in Ewa Beach, Hawaii for the last 43 years and worked as a youth counselor for the State of Hawaii for the majority of his career. He completed his employment path as a client relations representative and shuttle driver "extraordinaire" for Cutter Chrysler Dodge Jeep before retirement. Tony was also an assistant basketball coach at several high schools and volunteered his basketball coaching knowledge and player development skills with the Special Olympics as well as numerous other basketball clinics and organizations.
Tony's enthusiasm and dedication to help the youth of Hawaii stemmed from his own experience as a young man who endured the School of Hard Knocks and he often was able to connect with youths whom others could not reach. He had a special ability to see the positive in all things, willingly shared that knowledge and brightened the lives of those around him. Tony loved plants and challenged himself by growing potted plumerias, pineapples and bougainvilleas and the plants gifted from Cutter clients who shared the same passion.
Tony is preceded in death by his parents, Charles William Randolph Sr. and Eva Belle Jones Randolph, siblings, Glenn Jones, Charles William Randolph, Jr., Barbara Harris and Mildred Lucille Randolph. He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Diane Bulosan-Randolph, son, Lorenzo Randolph, brother Stanford Louis Randolph (Kimberly) of Maryland, sisters Patricia (Patsy) Jones of Ohio, Margaret Ann Randolph of Maryland, Jacqueline Marcia Randolph of Washington, D.C., Sandy Maria Randolph Fitzpatrick of Virginia, many nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws, especially his loving mother-in-law, Marciana Bulosan, hanai mom and best friend forever and hanai sisters, Debbie, Donna, Darlene, Marcia, and Michele.
Memorial services will follow at a later date.
